We offer various energy efficiency programs:
High-Performance Homes
The TNMP High-Performance Homes Program promotes the construction and certification of high-performance and ENERGY STAR®-certified new homes. Participating homebuilders can receive financial incentives for constructing energy-efficient homes that adhere to current program guidelines.
On average, ENERGY STAR-certified homes use 20% less energy than other new homes. These homes are built to meet rigorous quality and efficiency standards, featuring high-efficiency construction, heating and cooling equipment, lighting, and appliances to ensure long-lasting savings and comfort. According to recent data, ENERGY STAR-certified homes have saved homeowners over $7 billion in energy costs since the program's inception. Additionally, homes that consistently benchmark their energy use save an average of 2.4% per year.
Low Income Weatherization
The TNMP Low Income Weatherization Program offers valuable incentives to help households improve their energy efficiency. This program focuses on single-family homes and provides financial assistance for the installation of various upgrades to customers.
