Energy Efficiency Program Honored
Texas-New Mexico Power has been honored for the second consecutive year with an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award.
The award is for results in 2016 by TNMP's High-Performance Homes energy efficiency program, which encourages builders in the company's service area to build homes leveraging specified energy efficiency standards. TNMP will be presented with the award by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy on April 26 in Washington.
"We are excited that that one of our energy efficiency programs has been recognized by the EPA and the Department of Energy for the second time," said Stacy Whitehurst, TNMP's vice president of regulatory affairs.
