Employees Give Back to Community During Annual Day of Service

Employees from Texas-New Mexico Power came together throughout the month of October for its annual Day of Service.
This event, now in its nineth year, is a way for TNMP employees to serve area nonprofit organizations with on-the-ground project work. In previous years, hundreds of TNMP employees gave back by participating in the company's annual Day of Service, which was briefly put on hold during the pandemic.

"For the last century, we have been committed to improving the places where we live and work. Our Day of Service is just one way we show our employees care," said Neal Walker, President of TNMP. "Our employees know it's so important to give back, and the dedication they show is heart-warming."

This year, projects included replacing flag poles, cooking meals, restocking shelves at food pantries, assisting senior citizens, park cleanup, and more.
